About M. Lamourt

Mireillee “M” Lamourt (they/them/ella) is a multi-hyphenate camera artist and storyteller. Their work range includes studio portraits, conceptual photography, award-winning short films, campaign visuals, and Netflix and HBO productions.

A transplant to Chicago, M is originally from Orlando, FL. This drastic change in weather and light quality gave them a deeper understanding of working in a range of environments to capture high-quality images.

M has an educational background in journalism and feature storytelling. This knowledge has allowed them to focus on connecting with subjects in a way that honors their humanity and complex perspectives.

As a member of the Puerto Rican diaspora and lgbtq+ community, their identity and story have deeply informed their work. M enjoys working with those who recognize the value that this intersectionality brings to their images.
